A magical Disney On Ice performance took a terrifying turn when a skater portraying Ariel from The Little Mermaid came crashing down onto the ice during a dangerous aerial stunt, leaving horrified spectators gasping as her partner rushed to help her.
The frightening accident was captured on video and has since gone viral, with millions of viewers expressing concern after watching the performer fall heavily onto the frozen surface during what was supposed to be a dazzling routine.
The incident unfolded as two professional skaters, dressed as Ariel and Prince Eric, performed an elaborate sequence to the beloved Disney song “Part of Your World.”
At first, everything appeared to be going perfectly. The pair gracefully glided across the rink before attempting a particularly risky move known as the “headbanger,” an acrobatic maneuver in which one skater holds their partner by the ankle and spins them just inches above the ice.
But within seconds, the magical performance turned into a frightening spectacle.
As the male performer swung his partner through the air, he appeared to lose control, sending the woman crashing onto the ice before falling himself.
The impact drew audible gasps from the audience, which included families and children watching the show.
Video shared by TikTok user @planoplaysgamestiktok shows the performer dressed as Ariel landing hard before immediately bringing her arms toward her head and remaining on the ice.

Her partner quickly scrambled to her side, appearing visibly concerned as he checked on her condition.
For several tense moments, the woman stayed on the ground while spectators watched anxiously, unsure whether she had been seriously hurt.
Eventually, she managed to sit upright and, with assistance from her fellow performer, carefully returned to her skates.
The pair then made their way off the rink together, briefly turning to acknowledge the audience before disappearing backstage.
Although the woman was able to leave the ice without being carried away, her actual condition remains unclear. Neither her identity nor the extent of any injuries has been publicly confirmed.
The video quickly attracted enormous attention online, with viewers stunned by the force of the fall and the potential danger of the stunt.
“He almost bashed her head on the ice omg,” one person commented.
Another viewer responded bluntly, “He did.”
“That actually looked BAD,” someone else wrote, echoing the concern expressed by countless others.
The maneuver that went wrong is considered one of the more dangerous moves in professional skating. Often referred to as a headbanger or bounce spin, it requires exceptional balance, strength and coordination because the skater being swung passes extremely close to the ice at considerable speed.
Even a small mistake can result in a dangerous fall, particularly if the performers lose their grip or balance during the rotation.
