5 Teens Hospitalized After Terrifying Halloween Party Attack

A Halloween party in England descended into chaos when an unidentified group entered a home and five teenage boys were stabbed, leaving the victims hospitalized with serious injuries and police searching for those responsible.

The terrifying attack unfolded shortly after 10:30 p.m. Saturday, October 31, at a house on Park Road in Chandler’s Ford, a residential community in Hampshire, about 75 miles southwest of London.

According to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, three 16-year-old boys and two 17-year-olds were injured after an unknown group gained entry to the Halloween gathering. All five were rushed to hospitals with serious injuries, while emergency responders, including an air ambulance, descended on the neighborhood.

Witnesses described frightening scenes as the violence spilled out of the house. One resident told the BBC they saw someone running from the property, shouting that he had been stabbed while apparently being chased by two people.

Another witness described seeing numerous emergency vehicles arrive as paramedics and police rushed to help the injured teenagers.

By Sunday morning, officers had cordoned off sections of Park Road and nearby Valley Road while detectives searched for evidence and interviewed witnesses. Investigators were particularly interested in identifying the group that entered the party and determining what triggered the violence.

Detective Chief Inspector Elizabeth Pirie said police were urgently working to establish who was responsible and appealed to anyone who attended the gathering to come forward.

“We are already hard at work identifying anyone who was at the party who may be able to assist our enquiries,” Pirie said.

Officers are reviewing surveillance recordings, cellphone videos and doorbell-camera footage from surrounding homes in hopes of piecing together the events leading up to the stabbings.

The attack has left the normally quiet community shaken, particularly because all five victims were teenagers attending what should have been a festive Halloween gathering.

Eastleigh Member of Parliament Liz Jarvis described the incident as deeply upsetting, expressing sympathy for the injured boys and their families.

“The community is in just shock this morning that such an awful thing could have occurred,” Jarvis told the BBC.

She urged residents to remain calm and avoid spreading unverified information online while investigators worked to determine exactly what happened.

The violence has also affected a nearby college community. Barton Peveril Sixth Form College said it believed two of the injured teenagers were among its students and confirmed it was offering support to those affected.

As of Monday, November 2, police had not publicly identified the injured teenagers or announced any arrests. The motive for the attack also remained unknown, and authorities had not released updated details about the boys’ conditions.

Local churches have offered spaces for residents to gather, reflect and support one another as the investigation continues.

Police are urging anyone who attended the Halloween party or has relevant footage to contact Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary at 101, quoting reference 44260534624. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
