The claws are out at Mar-a-Lago — and Ivanka Trump is officially not on the guest list.
Sources say Melania Trump has banned her stepdaughter Ivanka from attending the glitzy January 29 premiere of Melania, the $40 million Amazon-backed documentary chronicling her return to the White House spotlight.
“She wants this night all to herself,” an insider told celebrity columnist Rob Shuter. “When the spotlight’s this dim, no one’s sharing it.”
Ouch.
The premiere, taking place at the Trump Kennedy Center, is set to roll out the red carpet for Melania’s highly curated comeback — but don’t expect any family reunions. Word is, Melania is “drawing a line,” and Ivanka “knows her place.”
According to pals, Ivanka did quietly vent to friends that being shut out stings. “Of course it hurts,” a source close to her admitted. “But I’m not surprised.”
The film, which follows Melania over the 20 days leading up to Donald Trump’s second term, is already raising eyebrows in Hollywood. Directed by scandal-scarred filmmaker Brett Ratner — who faced multiple allegations of sexual misconduct — the project has been labeled a “vanity piece” by some industry insiders.
Still, Melania’s inner circle is standing firm: this is her moment.
The trailer teases a glamorized behind-the-scenes look at the former First Lady’s transition back into the political arena, including never-before-seen moments with her son Barron, who makes his documentary debut. There’s also a much-talked-about clip of Melania brushing off Donald’s TV appearance.
“Did you watch it?” he asks over the phone.
“I did not. Yeah, I will see it on the news,” she replies — a moment that quickly went viral, with fans calling her an “icon,” “legend,” and “the moment.”
The film’s release comes amid renewed rumors about Melania and Donald’s marriage, with reports that the two are once again sleeping in separate quarters. Sources close to the couple describe the relationship as “transactional,” echoing past whispers of a chilly, but mutually beneficial dynamic.
One former confidante, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, didn’t hold back: “Donald got arm candy… and Melania got two dynamic decades as a model.”
Now, she’s got her own movie — and Ivanka won’t be in the frame.
