A routine trip to pick up a prescription turned into a chaotic scene at a CVS pharmacy in Georgia after an elderly woman was filmed having a heated meltdown that quickly went viral online.
The incident happened at a CVS in Sandy Springs, where a young customer waiting for her own prescription began recording as the confrontation unfolded.
In the video, the woman can be seen storming toward the pharmacy counter with her dog following closely behind. She immediately begins arguing with another customer who was already being helped by a pharmacist.
“Stop yelling,” the man tells her in the clip.
“You keep quiet,” the woman fires back in a thick accent.
The tension quickly escalates as the woman drops her bag on the floor and threatens to call the police while continuing to argue with the people around her.
“You can call the police,” the man responds.
Moments later, the woman walks directly up to the counter where he is standing and slams her bag down, apparently attempting to cut in line.
“Give me my medication,” she demands.
The man pushes back, picking up her bag and tossing it onto the floor behind him.
“I am here. You don’t put your bag where I am,” he tells her.
The woman then shifts over to another section of the counter where the person filming the video is being helped.
“You’re in my space,” the younger woman tells her.
“Let me call the police,” the older woman replies while pulling out her phone.
Another customer jokes that calling the police might end up getting her arrested instead.
“I need my medication,” the woman continues repeating as the argument drags on.
Pharmacy staff try to calm the situation and explain that they need her information before they can process the prescription. When an employee asks for her name and date of birth, she insists she already entered it.
“I did it,” she yells.
Eventually the woman enters her information into the system but refuses help from one employee standing behind the counter.
“I don’t want her,” she says, waving her hand dismissively.
The confrontation continues even as the transaction moves forward. At one point, the woman turns to the man she argued with earlier and calls him “garbage.”
She also lashes out at the woman recording the scene.
“You’re ready to fight. Oh, I’m surprised. Not attractive,” she says.

In a second video, the woman finally receives her medication but continues arguing and asks to speak with a manager, complaining about one of the pharmacy employees.
“She took the medication back!” she says while demanding help from someone else.
“I don’t want to deal with her. If I deal with her I will leave,” she adds.
The woman insists she received a message telling her to pick up the prescription that day, though an employee explains it likely came from the pharmacy’s automated system.
“No, she messaged me,” the woman argues.
As the confrontation winds down, another customer comments on the fact that she brought a dog into the pharmacy.
“Mind your business,” the woman snaps before finally leaving.
The bizarre scene quickly spread across social media, where viewers were stunned by the pharmacy showdown.
“Going to CVS ready to fight everybody is wild,” one user wrote. “Some people really wake up choosing chaos.”
Another person added, “Calm down and just breathe for a second. Lashing out at everyone around you is crazy.”
