New allegations surfaced in court Friday against Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak and her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann.
KJ appeared in Fulton County Superior Court on Sept. 11 for a bond hearing following his arrest last month over an alleged incident involving a female classmate.
He has been charged with seven felony counts, including aggravated sexual battery.
During Friday’s hearing, Deputy District Attorney Caitlin McGillicuddy said investigators found videos on KJ’s phone that allegedly involved sexual activity with a relative under the age of 12.
McGillicuddy also claimed the videos showed KJ using “predatory, derogatory” language.
Authorities did not publicly identify the relative or provide further details about that allegation.
KJ’s attorney, Jason Sheffield, declined to comment on the new claim.
Sheffield has previously said his client is innocent and plans to plead not guilty to all charges.
At the hearing, Sheffield asked that KJ be released on $65,000 bond and said Zolciak, 48, would supervise him at home.
Prosecutors argued that if bond is granted, it should be set much higher at $190,000.
KJ remains in custody at Atlanta’s Metro Regional Youth Detention Center.
The original case stems from an alleged incident at a local gym in April.
A female classmate accused KJ of unwanted sexual contact inside a coed sauna, according to a police report.
Police were later called to North Fulton Hospital, where an investigation was opened.
According to the report, the girl underwent an examination, and no male DNA was detected in her mouth or genital area.
During Friday’s hearing, a statement from the accuser was read in court.
She said she has been “living in fear” because of alleged threats that KJ would retaliate against her if released.
Sheffield has also asked for the case to be moved to Fulton County Juvenile Court, where proceedings would be confidential.
He said KJ is expected to enter not guilty pleas when he is arraigned on Oct. 14.
Zolciak has strongly defended her son.
“The allegations being made against my son are nothing short of reckless and deeply troubling,” she previously said.
She added that KJ “categorically denies” the accusations against him and claimed he voluntarily took and passed a polygraph examination related to the case.
Judge Melynee Leftridge is expected to decide by Monday whether KJ will be released on bond.
