A patriotic skydiver carrying a massive American flag was caught on video crash-landing near a crowd at a popular Northern California rodeo.
The dramatic incident happened at the Folsom Pro Rodeo near Sacramento as the parachutist glided toward the arena with the flag trailing below him.
Video from the scene shows the skydiver descending under a red, white and blue parachute before the oversized flag appears to snag on a nearby tree.
Seconds later, the man veers off course and slams into a tent near the crowd.
The video cuts out immediately after the impact.

Despite the frightening crash, rodeo organizers said the skydiver, identified only as Ross, escaped without serious injuries.
“On behalf of the Folsom Pro Rodeo and Choose Folsom, our skydiver Ross is safe and walked into our arena, post jump, to a standing ovation,” organizers told Fox 40.
They added that Ross planned to perform another jump into the arena on July 3.
The Folsom Pro Rodeo has featured an American flag-carrying skydiver for years, according to KCRA.
Now in its 65th year, the event is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.
Organizers describe the rodeo as a celebration of traditional Western culture and family entertainment.
The event is billed as a showcase of “the tradition and excitement of rodeo,” designed for fans who enjoy the thrill of the sport and the spirit of Folsom, California.
Organizers also say the rodeo is meant to honor the city’s past while giving families an experience that captures the feeling of the Old West.
